The Boston Red Sox, knowing that signing Matsui and Damon would kill all remaining spirit and hope of Yankee fans, and knowing that these guys always perform best in playoff baseball, have signed them both.The details are not all revealed, but it is known that in addition to picking up their contracts, the Sox get the top picks of both Oakland and Tampa next year, as well as three players to be named from any levels of their farm systems.
Oakland and Tampa asked for nothing else but dollar relief.

We're all in this together; providing suggestions for another NY Yankee World Series victory, helping John and Suzy stay gainfully employed, and finding ways to insure the Scumbags (ne: Red Sox) suck. Oh, there is an entity that vacuums afterall. I personally know Jimmie Reese, both pere and fils, and they do not suck. And I went to school in the same cold city where Senor Duque works; and he certainly doesn't suck. So let's limit our denigrations to those deserving of such--All Citizens of Scumbag Nation.
