Back In The City

A few things I learned in the desert;

1. Alcohol is not a cure for dehydration.

2. A-Rod needs at least another 4 weeks of re-hab. He can't run and he can't bend over. He is also disoriented when looking upwards, as in pursuing a pop-up. If he had a foot race today with Jorge, they would both come in second.

3. I told you Jorge should have retired after his swan song game. Now, he leaves us hanging and losers like Carlos Beltran, watching a called strike three with the tying and lead runners on base. He'll do the same in the playoffs.

4. Chavez should play 3rd; Jorge should retire; Jesus should DH; and A-Rod should prepare for September/October.

5. If Cano was really an MVP candidate, he would have doubled with the bases loaded instead of flying out to left.
