Mets Hats and MLB Diktats

Many of you have probably had enough of memorial tributes and reflections on 9/11, but since there was a story with a baseball angle about the 10 th anniversary, I felt some readers might like the following poem published on Bardball yesterday.

There was all sorts of blather a decade ago across the nation about "we're all New Yorkers now." Apparently now, some outsiders are well positioned to tell New Yorkers the best way to commemorate their heroes. Cuz nothing says "New York" better organizational conformity.
