Japan's Orix Buffaloes are chasing Kei Igawa, the king of not only Scranton but Wilkes Barre, whose five-year sentence with us ended Sept. 30.
"If he wants to return to Japan, we are in a position to accept him," said the Orix official. "We still think that he has the power to pitch."
Wasn't there a claim that Kei wants to prove the Yankees wrong and pitch in the majors? It's time to start the bidding, boys.
