GREATEST YANKEE WIN SINCE FRIDAY

Only regret: Boston didn't have a 12-run lead before falling apart.

(And that Beckett didn't get in.)

  2. Tim Mccarver said Tex is nearing the end of his career. Do you think he regrets those statements?

  3. Tim McCarver is a blithering buffoon.

    Just an observation.

  5. HEY! Tim made sure to clarify his statements! He said he doesn't think Tex is nearing the end but that it "must be in the back of his mind". So BACK OFF of Mr. McCarver. You are all the epitome of Joseph Stalin and corporate childishness.

  6. I will clarify.

I was not saying that Mr. McCarver was "blithering buffoon" based upon his comments about Mr. Teixeira.

My statement was based on a preponderance of anecdotal evidence accumulated over the course of several years of study, during which an inordinate number of statement by Mr. McCarver could unquestionably be classified as "inane," "dipshit-like" or "damn, that was stupid."

I hope this clarifies the issue.

  7. This is the first time in my life I have ever seen anyone defend Tim McCarver.

    So. Flavius wins! I guess.
