    The Master has been hoarse since at least Monday, but it's barely detectable without earbuds.

    I worry. He hasn't missed a single game since the Yankees hired him. He has personally witnessed every inning, every Mariano pitch, every Jeter hit.

    If his condition worsens--if he has to miss calling a Yankee game--what psychological damage will he be risking?
