I read somewhere that we should all be optimistic about Pineda because
Joba, who a few days back was thought to be bleeding out on a playground, and a few days later was judged to be finished as a baseball player, is now expected to be back on a mound by August.
I can only tell you that the reference is not to a pitcher's mound at Yankee stadium.
He may be back on the same mound that cost Brian Cashman his brains and our futures as Yankee fans.
But he won't be helping the team.
