Dear Editor,
Reggie Jackson is absolutely correct about A-Rod and any other
players who have used steroids ('Yankees reportedly miffed by Mr. October,' July
10). None of the players who used steroids should be eligible, never mind voted
into the Hall of Fame. Reggie's comments about some of the other players he
doesn't think should've been voted into the Hall are what make sports great, the
constant debates about who was better, what team was the greatest. To me this is
the part of sports that is almost as good as being at a Game 7 win over the
Lakers at the real Boston Garden
