Doug, no shit. There is no future. I repeat, there is no future. And I NEVER thought I'd be defending ad copywriters, but there you have it. I also never thought I'd be defending yellow cab drivers, but Uber changed that. And, since I'm always telling people that it's important to be flexible in this life, I should take some of my own medicine.
I wanted to use this moment on the stage to thank you, Duque, Hoss, Alfonso and everybody else here for bring some joy into my otherwise, hopeless, dark, perverse, perverted and meaningless existence as a Yankee fan in 2022 (Thanks, Hal and Brian). Without you all, I'd lose my mind. Whatever is left, that is.
Happy holidays to everyone out there from this old pagan pervert.
