So far, every "targeted " player by the Yankees, past and future, has now signed elsewhere.
The money is better, the prospects for a winning season are better, and sometimes both.
We may have to play with only 7 position players or six.
It will hep little with the salary target, however.
Alphonso, I tried to remain stoic, but the loss of Eric Chavez is demoralizing. I cannot wrap around Reynolds because Yankee strike outs have become unbearably painful due to their frequency last autumn. So, maybe yes play the triple A kids . . . . Or, go with the DF, the Designated Fan. Pull someomeone wearing pinstripes out of the stands each game and let them play third base.
ReplyDeleteA great promo idea and better than Reynolds. We will need six 40 year olds to rotate at the corner.
