Today's Quiz....you could win a used corrolla if you get it right

Setting:  Early in yesterday's game.

Score:  Still 0-0.

Game situation:  Iciro singles and steals two bases.  Two outs.

Tension:  A base hit is needed to score Ichiro from 3rd, and give Kuroda a lead.

Description:  It is a big moment in a close game.

Query:  Who is at bat and what does he do, after working a 3-0 count?

Hint:  I've given you a pretty clear clue in previous musings.

    1. Correct. But it was a two part question. No used corolla for you. Thanks for trying.

  2. struck out, perhaps? Fouled out to the catcher? can't believe you're giving up your new car. Perhaps you'd like my Civic?

is this situation beyond a Juju intervention?

  3. It was A-Rod and he homered, winning the game?

  4. The time limit on the offer has expired. After a 3-0 count, Nix would up taking a called third strike to end the inning.

  5. Ya know, after all of Susan's time spent getting a stinky pinky thinking about Nix... I googled him. I know this isn't normal, but I don't have a TV. It's all radio, I don't know what these people look like. Ok, Mo, sure, I've seen him in those Canali suit ads, but I dunno what Nix looks like. But I figured if he made Susan do the ménage a moi, he must be pretty good looking.

Lets just say, at best, cannoli suit.

  6. One other story you might not have heard about Rivera and his Canali suit deal. Some people have wondered where his hair went... It was actually a misunderstanding. He thought the deal was to help launch the new Merino Wool suits. Well when it turned out to be Mariano Wool, nobody was more upset than Clara.
