Anything to get out of pitching in Syracuse: WANG CHUNGS

Bad news, ugly karma, a horrible omen, rotten juju...

Chien-Ming Wang must have gotten an MLB offer, because we've lost him. He just jumped ship from Scranton. He had a clause in the contract that allows it.

Damn. He was slated to pitch tonight in Syracuse.

In my fantasy world, I had him penciled in to start Game One of the World Series for us, capping the miracle Yankee comeback. He belongs with the Yankees. This is so wrong.

  1. I totally agree. Wang is so very much a Yankee.

What happened? I always thought he would make the perfect patch in Yanks rotation hole.

  2. my little circle of Yankee fans and I share your disappointment, duque. A Wang rebirth would have been a great Yankee moment, no matter how it turned out.

  3. I blame Holder and his spy goons. They got to him. Something about having a 'Chinesey' name and cyber attacks.

    Damn these people.

  4. Over a month ago I booked Wang coming back to save the Yankees from the Red Sox during a brawl. Well there are these things called twists and turns so it appears that my prediction will be wrong, unless of course Wang quits the Blue Jays and buys a ticket to the game and emerges from the crowd with a steel chair as opposed to the bullpen as how I originally envisioned it.

But that is just a pipe dream now. Wang will now ride to save the Yankees during the next time he is on the mound against them. During the 7th inning of his no hitter, he's going to call a meeting with the catcher and out of nowhere he's going to hit him in the face with the rosin bag and then hit him with a stone cold stunner. He then leaves the mound and appears the next day in a Yankees uniform signifying his his turn of allegiance.

But, this would mean that Wang as turned heel and thus mean the Yankees are the heels and so in the end the Blue Jays, being the good guys, would have to win the WWE Title, I mean World Series
