The Yankees are now 3-0 since Monday's
International Juju Intervention.
Certainly, we at IIHIIFIIc do not claim credit.
The Yankee players had a huge role.
We salute them and everyone within the Yankee fan base
- (you know who you are) -
who contributed badly needed Juju to our boys in the field.
Juju on!
does an IJJ have an expiration date?

Y'know, Duque, this IJI illustrates exactly what I mean when I say, "Let's Build Something Together!"
ReplyDeleteWe were 20-4 last year.
ReplyDeleteTwenny and fore, baby, twenny and fore.
I was wondering if I might be jeopardizing the good juju with a mild reminder that these were the Indians, who had been playing over their heads given their weak pitching. But I see duque crowing about 20 and 4 and I have to wonder if the gods -- baseball? juju? both? -- may want to smack us good for such hubris. I've read the book and lived the life: humility is required.
ReplyDeleteYou mean those Injuns that made all the splashy moves in the offseason along with Tronto, and everyone was peeing their pants about the shift in power ? Those Injuns ?
ReplyDeleteWe had lost 7 out of 8 before the Intervention.
ReplyDeleteNow, we have won three straight.
Far as I'm concerned, it worked.
We've done our part. It's up to the players now to keep it going.
Twenny and fore, baby, twenny and fore.
