... and now, a break from this dreadful Yankees off-season for a musical interlude

A new tune from The Baseball Project about Bernie Williams, called "Monument Park."

You'd expect the Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio references in a song about a Yankee centerfielder, and Murcer too, but namedropping Earle Combs?  Impressive.

Of course, any song with a Bobby Murcer mention is an instant classic.

Anyway, give it a listen

  1. Magnificent.

Have you ever heard their version of "Buckner's Bolero?" Whenever Alphonso comes to visit, we always put it on and drink a toast.

  3. ... and I have to get my phone to follow the proper rules of capitalization.

But anyway ... we need these guys to come to Syracuse. It's a must. They put on an awesome show in Cooperstown. (With a bonus: It was at the Ommegang Brewery, so the beer was fantastic, too)
