The problem is us. Not only can we not predict baseball, we don't realize these are mere references to great Broadway shows the past... like Porgy and Bess, The Hot Mikado, Ain't Misbehavin' and the Emperor Jones. So when Sterling says Niggy Nogs One! He's livin'the Sportin' Life! Well, its our fault for not understanding Sterling.
BTW I'm still working on creating Festeris, so all my Amazonian dreams can come true.
Let's be real, John should have been suspended for the McCann home run call until he can redo and perfect it. And as far as the impostor Sterling goes, you can't really knock the guy because he doesn't want to be publicly cuckolded. Then again the real Sterling would have known how to keep his main squeeze Suzyn in line. She wouldn't be dipping out of the (formerly) Lowe's broadcast booth during a Dodgers game to hang out with Magic. So he should be reprimanded for embarrassing the Master's name.
