Earlier this season, I was thinking, well, maybe...but no. This is not an injury to root for. The guy is our only power hitter, and while it's been demonstrated that we can actually win games without hitting HRs right and left (mostly right, if we're at home, especially), it's good to have somebody who can pop one now and then who isn't Brian Roberts.

Mike Ford is a first baseman. If Tex keeps getting hurt, maybe the Yankees won't trade him...
