CC Put on DL

  1. Should we state, rather, that CC is not so much on the DL as the "DL"? Perhaps someone in the Yankee organization decided that CC needed an enforced rest before he single-handedly boosted AL offensive states to 1931 levels. Perhaps CC has 15 days to discover his inner Jamie Moyer. If he doesn't, he might find that both knees have gone so bad that he can't pitch again this year.

  2. Something isn't working. Here's an example of giving a rest to a veteran who can't get it together, and let someone else get a shot. Might turn out badly, but we shall see.

Maybe I'm dense, but I'm not sure what the images have to do with the story. Silvio Berlusconi, Beatlemania, Barack Obama, random crowd reacting? What's the thread? How do these images relate to water on the knee?

  4. This particular DL stint for one of our starters is not worrisome to me. I have to figure anybody will be better than CC at this point.

  5. I'm hoping they drain Sabathia's knee and he'll be awesome again kind of like Matsui although I hope it doesn't become a regular thing.
