Congrats to Zolio and Frankie

Just so it's said...

Congrats to everyone involved in the emancipation of Zolio Almonte and Francisco Cervelli, the Yankees longtime human paperweights.

It won't be the same, without the Empire continually having them to ignore, in favor of signing other team's castoffs.

I'm not sure who can fill the role of career rented mule, but I'm sure someone will step forward. Slade Heathcott looks like a candidate, a lifetime Scrantonian in the making.

  1. Frankie's old, comically huge batting helmet should be on permanent display in the Yankees Museum.

God speed, Mr. Cervelli. You gave us all you had and you will be missed.
