Yankee 2015 season in review

They finished six games above .500.

In simple terms, they were this team:

  2. I would like to add that from 95-2012 they would have been the normal wild card team and not had to deal with any 1 game ridiculousness.

    Of course they would have then lost easily to the Royals. I could live with that more than that Astros game...

  5. I understand the logic behind the six-games-over-.500 thing. If they had lost six games they wound up winning they would have been at .500. But the fact remains that they finished 87-75, TWELVE games over .500. Still mediocre, still soul-deadening in September, but goddammit, they were 87-75, not 84-78.

  6. If they advanced beyond the Wild Card, I'd have them at 12 games over .500.

    Frankly, I think I'm cutting them slack for not adding the Wild Card, which would put them at FIVE over.
