A Fine Balance Of Progress In the Context of Reality.

So the Yankees are streaming on a hot steak to achieve .500 at the all star break.

This is the worst we might have hoped for.

Now, the Yankees' ownership can keep pretending the team isn't mediocre ( despite the mathematical definition of average ), and headed nowhere.

Cashman, and, "I'm not cheap," owner Hal Steindummer can continue to make poor decisions, and blow opportunities to stock the franchise with some actual prospects.

Slow and steady they will push this team.

Straight to nowhere.  And at a mind numbing pace.

Signifying nothing.
