Write this down: Here is the reason for hope in 2017

Last year, I saw one unforgettable Scrantonian. His name was Giovanny Gallegos. He came in to pitch an inning against the mighty Syracuse Chiefs. He struck out the side. Nine pitches. Maybe eight. In fact, no, it was seven. Giovanny Gallegos. Right-handed reliever. Bulldog. Remember that name. Giovanny fucking Gallegos. Gio. Vanny. Gal. Fucking. Egos. Giovannygallegos. Gi. Oh. Van. Ee. Gal. Yay. Gos. I can keep doing this. You think I can't? You think I will run out of steam? You are wrong. Giovanny Gallegos. Giovanny Gallegos. We are going to love this guy. Forget Tyler "The Yankee" Clippard. This is our seventh inning. Giovanny "The Yankee" Gallegos.

    That's what I saw David Robertson do in spring training the season he first arrived. A good sign, although I believe in nothing.
