I wonder what Alphonso would say about this New York Times story

Can This Man Revive the Yankees?

  1. I would tend to read the plaudits with grave reservation.

Would I be given a chance to respond? With the same national coverage?

I believe I could make a case for stringing him up on a log, and dousing his pretty, bald head with tar and feathers.

It's like the scientific community mis-labeling the salk vaccine with the bird flu spores.

  2. This article is certifiably insane. It's so insane that I'm positive it shocked the world into becoming a bizaro reality, hence Pineda's success today. I'm sure if it was about Hal being the greatest owner ever, one who isn't cheap, then Pineda would have thrown a perfect game.
