Drunk Blog continued: Will this ever stop?

A guy told me what happened. He was nearly hysterical. "Tyler Clippard!" he said. "Tyler Clippard."

 "What? What about Tyler Clippard? What did Tyler Clippard do? What happened to Tyler Clippard? Did he get hurt? WHAT HAPPENED WITH TYLER CLIPPARD?"

"Grand slam."

I puked.

 Four games above .500. Four and a half behind Boston. A game ahead of Tampa. A lingering suspicion that none of this matters.

 Not long ago, this was a Yankee season for the ages, and Brian Cashman was headed to Cooperstown for building the next great dynasty. 

 Now, it's a blossoming nightmare and, aside from Aaron Judge, everything has collapsed. 

 Are we being punished for something?

The trade deadline is only three weeks away. Can we deal Aroldis Chapman again?

    I've been saying we should trade Chapman for a month. Clip and Dellin need work in the minors or at the Tampa complex. Girardi should've been gone years ago. Is Rothschild any good at all? Seems highly debatable.

    Keep Warren, Cessa, Green. Throw the rest overboard, in one way or another.

    This organization continues to reward incompetence and fire the strength coach. So much wrong, exposed so quickly when difficulty strikes. Sad.
