Warning: Annual drunk blog begins today

If you follow this site, you know that every year around this time, I am visited by the ghosts of summer past, who force me to drink excessively and continuously for a few days. You must understand: I have no choice. These otherworldly, all-powerful forces command me to take unto fiery spirits, or everyone in the world - I'm talking the entire planet Earth, even the kangeroos - will be instantly perish, consumed by an exploding sun. Yeah, so how do like that, self-righteous temperance people? Ka-boom. No beaches, no Netflix, no nothing. 

 But look... I'm not expecting idolatry. Hell, Miss Vickie, I'm just a-doin' my part. But I request that you understand that until next Monday, I will be taking part in the ANNUAL LIVE DRUNK BLOG, a Christmas tradition celebrated in July.

 My posts will be shorter, more concise, haphazard and probably improved, though spelling will be an issue. 

 I hereby encourage all other IIH posters, commentators and readers to join in these festivities. (Also, I should not that, historically, the Yankees have done well during the Annual Live Drunk Blog, so the juju gods may be drinking themselves.)

    Stephen Drew is batting .311 (in limited at bats). Even still, that's the wildest thing I've ever seen.
