"Green has nothing today. 12 won't be enough."
Alphonso suffers, invokes Lincoln

It starts with football, but Alphonso's most epic text-storm yet quickly circles back to a game the Yankees would win by a score of 16-7:

  1. We won. That means Girardi won't be fired.

  2. Technically Alphonso was right about most of that. If the Yankees don't hit they lose - Texas scored 7 runs, easily could've spiraled out of control if the Yankees didn't have so many runs. You don't want Judge up when it matters. He is the king of meaningless homeruns and never delivers with the game on the line. Montgomery always hits his quota of 2 or 3 runs given up.

Between the Jets and the hopes of Girardi getting fired I've got tank fever. Today's win was an unwanted remedy.
