A jog down memory lane in Seattle

Let's hope the smiles last a lifetime. Because the Mariners have him for a lifetime.

Thanks, Buhner's Ghost.

  1. Ah, Robinson!

These are the mellow years. All that heady Northwestern air, in a beautiful, laid-back city with great restaurants.

No tense pennant races or playoff games to drive up the blood pressure. An extra two weeks-to-a-month of vacation time. Stats set on a glide pattern to the Hall of Fame.

And at the end of the year, another $24 million in the bank. Sweet.

  2. All this time in Seattle and he still isn't drinking a lot of espresso. If he was, he wouldn't jog to first.
