It is Worth Acknowledging....

A Xmas present that came to us.

Representing the gift of a player traded  to another team.

And no loss of prospects to us.

This gift box represents a great third baseman.

Now on the SF Giants.  We will only see him in the World Series.

I thought we should acknowledge that this is another worry we don't have.

A move Cashman resisted in the dark halls of evil.

A joy in Mudville.

  1. Is this about Ellsbury possibly being shipped to the Giants or Longoria finally unable to torment the Yanks 18 times a year? Either way here's another little treat for Christmas:

Old Food Stamps and Coops have so much real estate in the brains of the Mets that even moves that don't affect them sends them into a tizzy. The Mets fans will pick this up, throw a tantrum and then Sandy will panic and sign an over the hill bat (think Kemp or Gonzalez) to a big deal to placate the masses only furthering the ineptitude.

  2. It is about Eva. He tormented us for years.

I am hoping, that it also becomes about Machado, but that may be a stretch prediction.
