  6. WinWarblist: don't let them take away what makes you "special". There's room in this world for folks who wear pants differently.

  7. Gardner? How about Sanchez? And Neil Walker, though he doesn't really count or matter.

Gardy not hitting, I can take. Sanchez, not so much. Sub-.200 in mid-May sucks. John Carlo K Scranton hitting in the .230s sucks, too, two homers be damned. Between Gardy and Scranton, it's amazing that pitchers don't just blow past the top of the order....oh wait, Judge and Didi. Two guys who are pulling their weight.

Question: Are the Yankees fucking up the head of yet another young phenom? Girardi's jealousy of Sanchez, with the public shaming; the YES guys piling on when he misses an insanely wild pitch from King Headcase Chappy; and God knows what the "coaching staff" is hitting him with. This isn't normal. This guy doesn't hit .190s, ever. Something isn't right.

  8. I have a theory, John M. It's simple, as is my smooth cranium. Gary needs to drop about 10 lbs. nothing too much that might diminish his power. Just a bit to make him more nimble behind the plate and in the box.

don't want him to become the Panda. the Yanks must have a dietitian. put the bastard to work.

  9. Sanchez is still getting big hits, at big times. Stanton is at least producing something.

But Gardy, at 1 HR, 10 ribbies, 2 stolen bases, and .198/.320/.248?

I don't care how good a fielder he is, and how many intangibles he provides. We can't go on with this guy as a starter.
