Boone's Strategy

This describes a sure thing.  Not a loss and not a win.

It describes futility.

Win a game (X), then lose a game (O).

At best, you win two in a row (XX).  But then you lose a game (O), maybe two (00).

In the end, you get nowhere.

And the one-game, play-in slips away.

Try a new plan Boonie.

  1. Tampa Bay with 9 hits, NYYs with 3. In 6th inning. At home. This is painful to watch.

I hate this stupid team (bases loaded, no outs in the bottom of the ninth and ... nothing? NOTHING!). I barely bother watching / listening any more -- why? I'm way more fully invested in catching up on Peaky Blinders than spending any more time on this hollow-hearted bunch.
