If Walker Is On This Team Next Season.....

....then I am " outta here " as a Yankee fan.

I'll be catching the next rain for the coast.

  1. I will never NOT be a Yankee fan, but I may not follow them as much if Walker is around or if Miggy and Didi are NOT around.

  2. Bye, bye, Miss American Pie.

The Horace Clarke years were bad. He was a lovable lug, but the Yankees were horrible.

Then we got the Guidry/Jackson years highlighted by my most favorite game with Bucky F' Dent, soon to be followed by the tragic death of my most favorite player in a plane crash.

Then the lost Kevin Maas years highlighted by -- nothing. Awful, but I still rooted for them.

Finally the beacon of an oasis in the desert. Ten glorious years (that Donnie didn't get to enjoy -- there has to be a dark cloud in every sunny day), followed by misery and woe.

With management saying, "we're almost there". Selling the AJ Burnett playoff seats (I wasted my money -- wait, a vendor's money-- there). Selling the Ivan Nova playoff seats -- I was there with my own samoleans paying for the overpriced seats, sushi, and Bourbon. Not even a fucking PA announcement on why Nova was out after two innings.

ALL of that can't compare to the anger at Yankees management I have right now.

They want me to believe in 'daring' to take strike three.

I will watch when Bezos buys the team. Not until Prince Hal is gone and someone who wants to actually win the WS (not maximize profits) is running the team.

Cashmoney gets a pass right now, because he was INSTRUCTED to do this insult on Yankee fans.

    Bye, bye, Miss American Pie.

    Hello Man City.

  3. I agree. The abuse of Andujar was the last straw. I'm out right now. No need to wait.

  4. I'll miss you all, but I'm not going anywhere. I need you all more than ever if I'm going to get through this winter. I'm just going to have zero expectations, kind of like when I was a kid in the 60s and it was fun to just watch. Obviously, I will wait for the next dynasty and I have faith that it will come, hopefully in my lifetime, but I'm not going to abandon these sorry sacks of shit now just because they suck, they have a ton of money, they act entitled, and the ownership doesn't give a shit. For real, I'm stupid/loyal enough to just stick it out. I hope you all stay or pop in, once the shock and the butt pain have worn off from the relentless spiritual sodomy we endured this past three months.

    I LOVE YOU ALL.

  5. If they trade away Andujar, I'm also out. Even if they get Verlander, in exchange ( who will be old and injured by the time we get him.)

if the Yankees announce that Miggy will be next year's left-fielder, I will keep the faith.

Sadly, I think the Yankees see only in black and white, not in shades of gray.

So having the insight, and taking the steps to accomplish this transition, is a remote possibility.
