  3. I agree with Joe F (who is not me, and I not him).

This blog is tending toward the suicidal.

Seriously, let's focus for a while on the Good possibilities.

Like.....maybe Aaron Judge will manage to stay healthy for more than 112 games in 2019.

  4. JFOB:

Not to quibble, but I think there's a typo in your post. Instead of "good possibilities" I think you meant "good possibility".

We might also focus on the many "meh" possibilities, such as:

         - Maybe Jacoby Ellsbury will "resume baseball activities",

         - Maybe Luke Voit will button the top button of his shirt and scoop balls out of the dirt

         - Maybe the ice chips in Greg Bird's ankle will melt, he'll lose his 1,000-yard stare
and he'll resume actually hitting the ball,

         - Maybe Ice Cream Sanchez will, oh, never mind.

    Meh.

  5. Joe FOB, you're completely right! There is plenty of good news to be found.

For instance, Man City, which is owned by Hal's Saudi partners in NYCFC, won a big match against Liverpool the other day.

Hooray! Score another one for the Steinbrenner World Sports Empire!

I think we should start a franchise just selling "Hal" memorabilia. Starting with tee-shirts that say "Hal" on the back.

For a number, it will have the Steinbrenners' estimated net worth.

  7. Watched a minor league pitcher recently that would equal the best on the White Sox staff. You might want to check out Aaron Civale, of the Columbus Clippers. His control and pitch location was impressive, not to mention only 4 hits, no runs through 7 solid innings. You might want to check him out. Here's his profile:
