I think Boone is an idiot. Last game Tanaka pitched he let him throw a 110-pitch complete game. This time out with an overused bullpen and also one less pitcher on the roster (24 men) he yanks Tanaka after only 85 pitches with a 2-run lead. Only to bring in Jonathon " Can Never" Holder who quickly coughs up the lead on a 3-run homer. Holder sucks and Boone sucks. Oh and he doesn't the two hottest Yankee hitters, Torres and Sanchez. What a dope!
Carl, you obviously don't understand that ballplayers are like cars with leaky radiators. If you keep running them hot they will overheat, and explode.
Boone is just trying to prevent a tragic accident.
