The Scoop On The Yankee Book I Referenced.

The New Yankee book is:

Inside The Empire:  The True Power Behind the New York Yankees.

Book by Bob Klapisch and Paul Solotaroff.

Note to readers:  A good book if you need a sleeping aid, and are willing to listen to arguments that Cashman is not ( inherently ) as bad as we think.

And that Hal is at least as bad as we think.

Goes best with Gentleman Jack and a bag of Sea Salt & Vinegar chips.

  3. These things are subjective.

Thanks for the book info, Alphonso.

So... Hicks is hurt again. And Boone says it's just a day or two.

I hope Clint is keeping his toothbrush in a travel case. This might all work out.

Maybin hurt his calf and Hicks is playing. Shit, this isn't how I wanted Frazier to come back.

  9. Heeeeeheeeeeheeeee!

Nice win—and the CollBull is now up to 27-25—but best of all: the injuries HAVE to cancel whatever outrageous deal Coops has up his sleeve, right?

  10. Alphonso, this is the book from spring training, right?

Incredible. The NY Times won't even let its writers vote for the Hall of Fame or the MVP awards.

BUT they will let a reporter whose job in part depends on access to the GM, write a book with said GM, in which said GM makes himself out to be a genius.

    Head-spinning hypocrisy.

  11. So the world is, Hoss, so it has always been.

Rufus, I'll say hi but I'll try to get a nude shot of her in the see-ment pond, too.

  12. HorCe, Klapisch doesn't write for the Times, does he?

  13. JM,

You are following my thoughts exactly.

    Parson Tom,

Klapisch does write for the times, but I am limited on how many articles a month I am allowed to read for free.
