Plague Theater: When Eddie Haskell appeared on "Happy Days"

Talk about being typecast...

R.I.P.

  1. True enough about the typecasting. With one supporting role as a kid, he became the archetypal obsequious, two-faced, trouble-making friend. It seemed so anti-Eddie Haskell that he chose to be an LA cop. One more of my childhood icons bites the dust. Another reminder of our own eventual mortality.

  2. When I see obits of people who died in their 70s, I think, wow, that's not very old.

A sure sign that I'm becoming very old.

The 1970s haircuts on "Happy Days" drove me nuts. Not that anyone cares, but really.
