I Was Forced To Wake Up And Do The Math....

Using the 2.7 " normalization  factor" established for the Covid season, the Yankees are now out of starting position players .

Here is the calculation :

Three starters are now on the IL ( Judge, Giancarlo and The Machine ) X 2.7 ( ratio of 60 games to 162 games ) = 8.1 on IL ( number of starting positions, excluding the pitcher).

So we are having a worse year...injury-wise..than last year....  which set records... and turned my feathers grey ( or gray).

    I've been using the 2.7 normalization factor for the amount of alcoholic beverages I consume during the pandemic. I think it's been going swimmingly.
