Why, 13 years ago, when he was drafted 14th in the nation, Hicks was considered a great prospect. AND...3 years ago, in the statistical ranking of AL centerfielders, he finished a weak second, mere light years behind Mike Trout. I don't know how we can NOT sign him to a longterm contract!
