The new Mantle/ Trout/ Aaron/ Williams ( Ted ) yesterday...reportedly...smoked a double in a simulated minor league game, held in the real Tampa complex.
He approached the plastic red tee in batting cage #6 and nailed that ball. As with a perfect golf drive, the tee never moved. The eye/ball/bat contact was supreme.
He ran it out, to make it seem even the more real.
Jessica Dominguez is only 18, has a sweet swing, and is surely a great Yankee future prospect.

Unless, today he goes 0-5.
I hope he's quicker in a real game. He looked pretty slow.
