Just Had To Say It...

Finally, this team is fun to watch.

Again.

Greg Allen lighting it up and running the bases.

Florial showing he cares.  And running the bases.

Gary being a steady player with power.

Odor hitting third.

Torres re-emerging ( even with that leaky glove) and hitting to right field.

LaMarre playing like it is a hockey game.

Wojo on the hill with no chance at all.

DJ having fun with the grand kids.

We are winning with chutzpah and speed.

Win or lose.

It is a much better watch.

We can trade those other guys.

  1. Agreed! Though what does that say about our regular regulars?

  2. They're boring, Hoss. Dull as dishwater.

It's nice to watch guys willing to run home, rather than trot.

  6. Unfortunately soon they will be sent down or traded for some 37yr old lefty or Chris Carter clone and things will be back to normal.

  7. Lucroy is now available

Florial for him straight up . We Missed on McKinney.

    Seems like a Cashman trade.

  8. Every few years, they suck so badly and have so many injuries that they must deviate from Brian's plan and hit the farm or bring up kids who'd otherwise never see the light of day.

They hustle - cause they're hungry - we get hooked in again, and rah rah rah...

Then Brian takes charge again the following year and the suckitude goes on for another decade.

Don't let it go to your heads...

  9. Suckitude is a wonderful word, concept, label. It's very useful.

    Thanks, 13B.

  10. Amen, Archie. And speaking of which, how is it that our Chief Anal Guy—is his name Mike Fishman? I can't remember—has had his position since 2005? As if there has been some amazing improvement in the Yankees over the past 16 years?

What is it exactly that he has to do to be replaced?

Or...could it be that his incompetence is exactly what Brian Cashman values in a guy who might otherwise replace him?

Nah! That would be cynical, to think that!

  12. Fun to watch until you have to watch Officer Krispe bounce the ball all over the place. Let's not forget Chad, who has blown a lot of games this season.
