We are the egg We are the yolksters We are the ones who make Hal's day So let's start leaving There's a chance we're waking We're wasting all our lives It's true we'll see a brighter day With Mr. Met
Cashman has spent plenty in this team and yet it is still a shambles I don't understand how he gets away with it in press conferences do none of the baseball writers not see the joke of a squad he has assembled like the rest of us? He should be called out for it but he never is.
In my opinion the man is a bigger bum than two arses
Today was an increasing feature in Yankees seasons of late: just not showing up.
I know, it's a Sunday day game after a Saturday night contest—always a bad idea, and one more example of fan torture by MLB. But morning, noon, or night, there are more and more games in which this team just can't get up for it.
One might blame this on Ma Boone for his failure to motivate people. But hey: he's such a great field strategist!
In this increasing year of cynicism and despair, There is a site for nice roundups of the Yank's MILB teams. Try Sportskibble.com and hit on Yankees. It is better than the Big Team coverage in daily rags.
