Yankees cut minor leaguer for allegedly selling stolen equipment

I guess the Yankees have been stealing more this year.

BALTIMORE — The Yankees considered Jake Sanford a legitimate hitting prospect who could hit with power and play both corner outfield positions. Among his teammates, however, he was known for stealing.

The Yankees cut Sanford over allegations that he repeatedly hounded teammates for their equipment to sell online, while also occasionally swiping it from their lockers,"

  1. Reminds me of MLB's cousin. What a foolish way to ruin a career. What a prick!

  5. Wow, what an imbecile. Doin' the ol' Ruben Rivera. A college man and a Canadian, too, who knew?

And our No. 3 pick in 2019. Great.

  8. We play today, we win today. Even if these wins are getting downright flukish. Two runs on one wild pitch? And not exactly a lot of ginger from that Baltimore right fielder chasing Torres' double.

But hey, we'll take it. The more you get away with wins in games like that, the better it is.

And at least we didn't have to watch Torrents blow it!

  9. And...Joey Gallo continues his historic run of awful play.

Now 0-13, with 8 strikeouts, and back down to .176.

    Wow.
