Game 159: You want to know what I think? I think he hits it tonight. That's what I think. Tonight.

  1. Is there some kind of prerequisite for Yankee second basemen to run the bases like a nincompoop?

  2. Why is Marwin playing? Anyone?

  3. Hinkey

Apparently he didn't know the rule but what's odd is that in a lifetime of playing BB every day since he was let's say seven years old, it never came up.

  4. Yankees are playing double-play bingo tonight. I’m thinking strikeout-caught stealing is next.

  5. I’ve been remiss in not mentioning lately how much I hate Donaldson. I hate the way the looks, I hate the way he sounds, I hate the way he acts, I hate the way he plays. I hate the way he arrogantly leaves all his shit at the plate for someone else to pick up after he strikes out, which happens at least once a game.

  6. I'm just here waiting on double play #4

  7. Why is Marwin playing again?

  8. I agree, 999. Just repellent.

  9. Marwin availing himself of the opportunity to make more than one out per at bat. Because he is a preening taint blister.

    Fuck.

  10. BTR, I want to take your comment, put it on a fancy frame and hang it next to my wedding photos.

  11. Platoni, not quite sure your wife would see it the same way!

  13. This is so very painful. Is Sevy going to throw a complete game? 'Cause we ain't got crap all in the bullpen.

  14. Higashioka is slower than a turtle with a broken leg

  15. Do I hear seven? We can still do it. Maybe eight.

  16. Yeah, six is cool and all, but can they hit for the DP cycle?

  17. Cabrera can play anywhere. But can he pitch?

  18. Sevvy pitching a hell of a game.

  19. So, Judge. No home run record. No Triple Crown. Maybe lost MVP in the process.

  20. Hicks didn’t know how many outs. Glad to see his head is totally up his ass. What a an ass-clown.

  21. JM

    He'll be the MVP.

Tough to watch the guy before and the guy after Judge both get HRs.

    What's that about?

  22. Tonight....Lucky Louie Looked Large!

  23. There IS one more home run in Judge’s bat.

    You’ll see.

  24. I'm just cringing at what he might not do.

  25. This ad for the store for short guys. Is that really a problem? Any short guys here?

  26. Higashioka and Gonzalez spoiling any chance for Judge to bat again.
Gonzalez was especially egregious swinging at the first pitch, not even trying to work the count.

  27. Seagar must be so happy he left LA to be on the Rangers.

  28. @JM…it is a problem…and watch that short stuff…

  30. Thuhuh-UHUHUHUHUH Yankees win but did NOT HIT INTO 7 DOUBLE PLAYS!!!!

  31. I’m as stretched out as a 27 y/o Scranton Rail Riders starter waiting to be called up.

  32. Had to do a Zoom thing. Lasted the whole game, somehow! Since when do they play at this breackneck pace?

I say make Sevvy the closer for the postseason.

So, so happy that Stanton got his 30th. Hurrah.

  33. Stanton will be our Chris Davis.
Flailing at pitches in an embarrassing fashion for two years, bat under .200, lead the league in Ks and then get cut and have his salary wired to his island home.
