Apparently he didn't know the rule but what's odd is that in a lifetime of playing BB every day since he was let's say seven years old, it never came up.
I’ve been remiss in not mentioning lately how much I hate Donaldson. I hate the way the looks, I hate the way he sounds, I hate the way he acts, I hate the way he plays. I hate the way he arrogantly leaves all his shit at the plate for someone else to pick up after he strikes out, which happens at least once a game.

Higashioka and Gonzalez spoiling any chance for Judge to bat again. Gonzalez was especially egregious swinging at the first pitch, not even trying to work the count.
Stanton will be our Chris Davis. Flailing at pitches in an embarrassing fashion for two years, bat under .200, lead the league in Ks and then get cut and have his salary wired to his island home.

Is there some kind of prerequisite for Yankee second basemen to run the bases like a nincompoop?
ReplyDeleteWhy is Marwin playing? Anyone?
ReplyDeleteMarwin? Marwin?
ReplyDeleteHinkey

Yankees are playing double-play bingo tonight. I’m thinking strikeout-caught stealing is next.

ReplyDeleteI'm just here waiting on double play #4
ReplyDeleteThere.
ReplyDeleteAnd there it is
ReplyDeleteWhy is Marwin playing again?
ReplyDeleteI agree, 999. Just repellent.
ReplyDeleteMarwin availing himself of the opportunity to make more than one out per at bat. Because he is a preening taint blister.
ReplyDeleteFuck.
Platoni, it was not a long wait.
ReplyDeleteBTR, I want to take your comment, put it on a fancy frame and hang it next to my wedding photos.
ReplyDeletePlatoni, not quite sure your wife would see it the same way!

This is so very painful. Is Sevy going to throw a complete game? 'Cause we ain't got crap all in the bullpen.
ReplyDelete6 DPs.
ReplyDeleteSix double plays!!!
ReplyDeleteHigashioka is slower than a turtle with a broken leg
ReplyDeleteDo I hear seven? We can still do it. Maybe eight.
ReplyDelete7 is the record, Head sez.
ReplyDeleteWell said.
ReplyDeleteYeah, six is cool and all, but can they hit for the DP cycle?
ReplyDeleteCabrera can play anywhere. But can he pitch?
ReplyDeleteSevvy pitching a hell of a game.
ReplyDeleteSo, Judge. No home run record. No Triple Crown. Maybe lost MVP in the process.
ReplyDeleteDonaldson blows.
ReplyDeleteUh oh. Castro.
ReplyDeleteHe'll blow this lead.
ReplyDeleteVery nearly did.
ReplyDeleteHicks didn’t know how many outs. Glad to see his head is totally up his ass. What a an ass-clown.
ReplyDeleteJM
ReplyDeleteHe'll be the MVP.
Tough to watch the guy before and the guy after Judge both get HRs.
What's that about?
Tonight....Lucky Louie Looked Large!
ReplyDeleteThere IS one more home run in Judge’s bat.
ReplyDeleteYou’ll see.
Record tying DP coming up?
ReplyDeleteI'm just cringing at what he might not do.
ReplyDeleteSo close! Almost saw history.
ReplyDeleteArgh. We're stuck at six.
ReplyDeleteMarwin sucks, HR or not.
ReplyDeleteMan - That sucked
ReplyDeleteThis ad for the store for short guys. Is that really a problem? Any short guys here?
ReplyDeleteHigashioka and Gonzalez spoiling any chance for Judge to bat again.
ReplyDeleteGonzalez was especially egregious swinging at the first pitch, not even trying to work the count.
Yes. Because he sucks.
ReplyDeleteWin!!!
ReplyDeleteSeagar must be so happy he left LA to be on the Rangers.
ReplyDelete@JM…it is a problem…and watch that short stuff…
ReplyDelete🙂
It seems Effross is the closer tonight.
ReplyDeleteYankees Win!!!
ReplyDeleteThuhuh-UHUHUHUHUH Yankees win but did NOT HIT INTO 7 DOUBLE PLAYS!!!!
ReplyDeleteI’m as stretched out as a 27 y/o Scranton Rail Riders starter waiting to be called up.
ReplyDeleteHad to do a Zoom thing. Lasted the whole game, somehow! Since when do they play at this breackneck pace?
ReplyDeleteI say make Sevvy the closer for the postseason.
So, so happy that Stanton got his 30th. Hurrah.
I hope you are correct.
ReplyDeleteStanton will be our Chris Davis.
