Hal on the Gum-chewer: "Every manager, if you look at any five games or seven games or 10 games, is going to make mistakes. Obviously in the postseason, they’re magnified. I’m not saying he makes the right decision every time. I think some of the critique is justified. But overall I think he does his homework quite well, deals with his coaches quite well, and listens to their advice, even in-game, and makes a lot of good decisions.”

    I'm sure Hal tells the wife and kids " What pay Judge $ 40 million per year? Why he'll make more than I do after team expenses. Let him make the extra 10 million up in endorsements."

    @ Dick.....my guess would be that Hal's mom, Elizabeth, took Thalidomide in the 60's.

    I think there might be an equivalent consequence to a YES reporter asking Hal a tough question as there would be to a Russian ice hockey goalie that dared to stop Putin from scoring.
