Seriously? That's also the birthday of my last surviving aunt. She was born on 12/29/29. I just went over to see her today, for her 93rd birthday.
She never took care of herself a day in her life, drank like a fish for most of it (now she's down to just a little vodka and milk everyday), and is about four-foot-eight and built like a fire hydrant. She also has better hearing than I do, reads constantly, and lives on things like hot-and-sour soup and Chee-tos, some of the few things she can taste anymore.
Happy birthday, Alphonso! I was traveling all day and most of the evening yesterday, so I missed it. But I had a couple of drinks that I can retrospectively say were in your honor.

I always say that Alphonso looks like Sam Breakstone/Dunkin Donuts donut maker.

In other words, it's an auspicious date!

Gird your loins, it's going to be a long year. The Intern gave you a Danish as a treat today. Tyler Danish.
