Boone Would Be A Better Manager If.....

....he never spoke, had an idea, or made a move.

Today, he removed Frenchy Franchy for IKF, a pinch non hitter.

Frenchy had ended an otherwise miserable yankee outing by hitting a three run home run.  He is a left handed hitter and plays a good outfield.

For some unimaginable reason, Boone decided to insert IKF into the game at CF, remove Franchy, and relocate Judge to RF.  It must be that Boone felt Judge would kill himself if he kept making diving catches in CF.

Balls that that guy we traded for ( the Bronxville kid ) would have caught standing up and waiting ( due to his foot speed ) if he hadn't been on the IL for the second year in a row.

Anyway, from that moment on ( the removal of  Franchy ) the Yankees sputtered and, eventually, failed.

All our weaknesses were exposed;  poor starting pitching after Cole; spotty relief work, poor managerial decisions.

Cabrera is hitting so Aaron Boone will surely sit him.  Play Hicks, for example.

Here is my message for Boone;  don't think or do anything.

This is a loss we shall feel all year.  Baltimore might now sweep us away.

  1. IKF now 0-12 on the season. Not even a walk or an HBP. Ludicrous.

  6. Boone is an idiot. But such a nice guy. The players love him.
