Game thread

Suzyn says Kahnle has been throwing and Bader is doing underwater swings in the pool.

Whoo.

  1. The Audacy app is incredibly behind the TV picture.

  2. Too many pitches. Too many strikeouts.

    Another one of those games.

  3. (apologies for my weak bladder control)

  4. Didn't even hit that hard.

  5. Radio app and TV now almost in sync.

    Shit. Pederson hit one.

  6. season is over

    everyone can go home now

  7. Is Clarke out because he sucked, he's hurt or reached his pitch limit?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Clarke became less Sharpe as the game went on so they pulled him.

He didn't suck and he didn't get hurt

  9. At least Donaldson isn’t striking out swinging- that’s a plus, right?

  10. We should stop hitting their Rookie or else Volpe will get plugged

  11. King is still dreadful and should be punched in the scrotum.

  12. Yankees clown show that inning.

  13. My comments keep disappearing.

  14. "Driven by Jeep" is now "Electrified by the Jeep brand."

    What complete shit.

  15. Mid season form with the disappearing comments

  16. I sense a big Donaldson moment is on the horizon

  17. Why is Abreu still in there?

  18. Can I have you run a Draft Kings account for me?

  19. Attention Ca$hole: peak trade value. Trade him now for a pair of dirty sweat socks.

  20. Bullpen implosion. Feels kinda familiar.

  21. One good thing about a game on Fox. I don't have to hear Kay say "Do the Yankees have a rally in their bones".

    ReplyDelete
  22. Weren't King and Holmes supposed to be our killer klosers?

    ReplyDelete
  23. At least the flop sweat kid won’t be part of this loss

    ReplyDelete
  24. Better break out some more RYE cause we’re on the rocks

    ReplyDelete
  25. The strike zone is all over the place but it's still a bottom of the ninth rally. Sort of.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Rizzo walks, giving Stanton a rare game ending double play opportunity.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, at least THAT wasn't called a strike.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Can't believe my Stanton dp comment got lost. I called it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I called that he wasn’t bunting!

    ReplyDelete
  30. What kind of RYE are you pouring?

    May I have a glass?

  31. The Giants stole that game. Thairo’s foot was clearly off the bag when he made the relay. Stanton was safe. Incompetent or corrupt officials gaslit us!

    ReplyDelete
  32. The worst part of this game was the Donaldson homerun. He has to go 0 for the rest of April to hasten his exit from the team.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I suppose Holmes and King will be on the IL soon.

    Another clutch Stanton moment!

  34. It WAS a terrible game for the umps. But WTF is Hicks doing up in that 9th inning?? Trevino's not a particularly good hitter, but of course he's better than Hicks.

Wonderfully apocalyptic feeling at the end of the game, with those deep, dark clouds moving in. It felt like something from The Natural. And then...Stanton.

    Sigh.

Just think: in 2028, we are still going to be watching Giancarlo Stanton bounce into game-ending double-plays,

    Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I don’t think any of us will make it until 2028 if Stanton is still here

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hoss, PH Hicks in that spot is the booniest thing I calculated think of.
I missed the last few ABs, did Stanton even run hard on that last AB it just jog?

  37. Looks like Rolaids is throwing 103 again
