The Giants stole that game. Thairo’s foot was clearly off the bag when he made the relay. Stanton was safe. Incompetent or corrupt officials gaslit us!
It WAS a terrible game for the umps. But WTF is Hicks doing up in that 9th inning?? Trevino's not a particularly good hitter, but of course he's better than Hicks.
Wonderfully apocalyptic feeling at the end of the game, with those deep, dark clouds moving in. It felt like something from The Natural. And then...Stanton.
Sigh.
Just think: in 2028, we are still going to be watching Giancarlo Stanton bounce into game-ending double-plays,
Hoss, PH Hicks in that spot is the booniest thing I calculated think of. I missed the last few ABs, did Stanton even run hard on that last AB it just jog?

The Audacy app is incredibly behind the TV picture.
ReplyDeleteGift run.
ReplyDeleteClarke Sharp
ReplyDeleteA bunt. What a concept.
ReplyDeleteToo many pitches. Too many strikeouts.
ReplyDeleteAnother one of those games.
VolPEEEEEEEEEEEE
ReplyDeleteVolpe first hit!
ReplyDelete(apologies for my weak bladder control)
ReplyDeleteAnd another SB…
ReplyDeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteJudgian Catch
ReplyDeleteNice dive
ReplyDeleteStanton "flicks" it
ReplyDeleteStanton!!
ReplyDeleteDidn't even hit that hard.
ReplyDeleteHomers or nothing.
ReplyDeleteRadio app and TV now almost in sync.
ReplyDeleteShit. Pederson hit one.
Clarke losing it.
ReplyDeleteseason is over
ReplyDeleteeveryone can go home now
Is Clarke out because he sucked, he's hurt or reached his pitch limit?
ReplyDeleteAll three??
ReplyDeleteClarke became less Sharpe as the game went on so they pulled him.
ReplyDeleteHe didn't suck and he didn't get hurt
Yanks working on a rally…
ReplyDeleteRizzo!!!
ReplyDeleteRizzzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteAt least Donaldson isn’t striking out swinging- that’s a plus, right?
ReplyDeleteJD got robbed…
ReplyDeleteLaMahieu looks a bit chubby.
ReplyDeleteKing is dreadful.
ReplyDeleteWe should stop hitting their Rookie or else Volpe will get plugged
ReplyDeleteKing is still dreadful and should be punched in the scrotum.
ReplyDeleteYankees clown show that inning.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Colter Beane?
ReplyDeleteMy comments keep disappearing.
ReplyDelete"Driven by Jeep" is now "Electrified by the Jeep brand."
ReplyDeleteWhat complete shit.
Mid season form with the disappearing comments
ReplyDeleteI sense a big Donaldson moment is on the horizon
ReplyDeleteHe breaks a leg?
ReplyDeleteWhy is Abreu still in there?
ReplyDeleteThere it is
ReplyDeleteWow. How'd you know?
ReplyDeleteCan I have you run a Draft Kings account for me?
ReplyDeleteAttention Ca$hole: peak trade value. Trade him now for a pair of dirty sweat socks.
ReplyDeleteI live 5 minutes in the future
ReplyDeleteBullpen implosion. Feels kinda familiar.
ReplyDeleteOne good thing about a game on Fox. I don't have to hear Kay say "Do the Yankees have a rally in their bones".
ReplyDeleteWeren't King and Holmes supposed to be our killer klosers?
ReplyDeleteAt least the flop sweat kid won’t be part of this loss
ReplyDeleteBetter break out some more RYE cause we’re on the rocks
ReplyDeleteJohnny Holmes is one & done
ReplyDeleteHicks!
ReplyDeleteLike VolpEEEEEEEEEEEE
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteThe strike zone is all over the place but it's still a bottom of the ninth rally. Sort of.
ReplyDeleteAre the umps lobbying for the asz?
ReplyDeleteRizzo walks, giving Stanton a rare game ending double play opportunity.
ReplyDeleteBet Stanton isn’t bunting
ReplyDeleteWell, at least THAT wasn't called a strike.
ReplyDeleteTime for the patented dp
ReplyDeleteJM. Really.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe my Stanton dp comment got lost. I called it.
ReplyDeleteAnd just like that its done
ReplyDeleteRufus T.? Et tu?
ReplyDeleteI called that he wasn’t bunting!
ReplyDeleteBah.
ReplyDeleteLol, AA
ReplyDeleteOut and out.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of RYE are you pouring?
ReplyDeleteMay I have a glass?
The Giants stole that game. Thairo’s foot was clearly off the bag when he made the relay. Stanton was safe. Incompetent or corrupt officials gaslit us!
ReplyDeleteThe worst part of this game was the Donaldson homerun. He has to go 0 for the rest of April to hasten his exit from the team.
ReplyDeleteI suppose Holmes and King will be on the IL soon.
ReplyDeleteAnother clutch Stanton moment!
It WAS a terrible game for the umps. But WTF is Hicks doing up in that 9th inning?? Trevino's not a particularly good hitter, but of course he's better than Hicks.

I don’t think any of us will make it until 2028 if Stanton is still here
ReplyDeleteHoss, PH Hicks in that spot is the booniest thing I calculated think of.
ReplyDeleteI missed the last few ABs, did Stanton even run hard on that last AB it just jog?
Looks like Rolaids is throwing 103 again
