 Two notes from Zachary A...

1. Yankees Offense
.230/.300/.384 (.684 OPS)

.230/.310/.375 (.685 OPS)

One of these teams has a $295 million payroll and the other team is actively trying to lose games.

2. Each team's longest winning streak this year:

13 - Rays
8 - Braves, Red Sox
7 - Orioles, Pirates
6 - Blue Jays, Brewers, Dodgers
5 - Angels, Giants, Mets, Reds, Tigers
4 - Astros, Cubs, Diamondbacks, Guardians, Mariners, Marlins, Phillies, Rangers, Rockies, Twins
3 - Nationals, Padres, White Sox
2 - Athletics, Cardinals, Royals, Yankees

  1. I don't know. That two in a row is going to be pretty tough to beat.

Judge is coming back tomorrow. Time for Bader and Rizzo to go into slumps and join the rest of the lineup.

  2. Time for Ruzzo to get hurt, I think. By the Saturday he'll be on DL.

  3. Like Booney said, there are things the A's can do that the Yankees can't

  4. Things are so bad that I got an email Saturday advertising Luxury Suite packages. For all the years that I have been receiving Yankee emails, I have never gotten one of these ads DURING a season.

Also, I got one this morning for "Half-Price Monday" for todays game. All tickets below Upper Deck.

Financial Floundering is our only hope.

I will let you know when "Official Yankee Gear." starts going on sale.

  5. TWO GAME WINNING STREAK. WOW.
