  1. Doug,

I mean this in a good way, but you are a warped individual.

  2. Just got the video feed. Estonia didn't work, Ukraine didn't work, but for some reason Panama gets me the fox video feed on mlb (with the Master overdub audio).

I am on top of a mountain in Vermont. There is NO TV service here other than satellite. I can't get an over the air channel. I pay for the mlb feed, but they think I'm in the redstinks area.

    Sheesh!

    PS Stanton sucks.

    Fuck HAL.

  3. The Ukraine used to be a Red (Sox)area now not so much.

  4. Estonia must be part of the Yankees' broadcast area.

Ukraine never really bought into being a red menace. Kleptocracy, sure.

  5. Some one just pulled up to my house with a couple of reel to reel tapes of yesterday’s game.

When I asked for 8 tracks instead he threw the reel to reels out his Datsun’s window, spit at me and sped off.

    Very distressing.

  6. Freedonia has an exclusive contract to broadcast all its games with every single broadcast entity, including the Home Shopping Network.

The royalties will be enormous and laundered before any of the many lawsuits are settled.

Unfortunately the Freedonia team is in professional tiddly winks.

  7. I used to watch the OLD ladies play tidily winks with their Bingo marker discs. Many were whimpering quietly, having lost their life savings playing Bingo. Years later it still makes me feel sad.

  8. Why?

Why does this team ALWAYS allow the other team’s big hitter to beat them?
Why don’t they pitch around them, walk them if needed.
Where is the coaching, the manager?

    WHO’S IN CHARGE HERE?

  9. I think Doug started tonight’s game thread.

  10. The Yankees will find a way to lose. They have the mastermind bonehead on the bench.

    On a happier note:

Devers is good, but the carmines have him for TEN more years at THIRTY million per.

Will make glass man's contract look economical by the time it's over.

  11. John's bringing up acting credits from the 60s.

  12. Dj was so off balance he hurt himself

  13. He recovered enough to warble. All is right again.

  14. If you’re looking for a quote, it’s “oww, OWW, OWWWW!”

    “It glanced off my forehead”

    It’s an instant Yankees classic.

  15. John is a true WARRIOR. That foul ball kinda glanced off his forehead. He took one for the team! And how about Kyle Higashioka, Suzyn Waldman's Star of the Game, expressing concern for The Master.

  16. In the FOREHEAD?

At least it wasn't the larynx.

  17. John just promised that he will not be going on the IL.

  18. Did Yes catch this? I really want to see our 84 year old hero take one. In rare occasion the radio is not sufficient

  19. First time in his 40 year career.

Will the Yankees wear a patch for the rest of the year?

  20. Btw this wasn’t the first time….

  21. Happy with a win, but kinda meh, you know?

Offense still stinks. With Judge out we can’t afford any dead bats. So - time for Volpe to return to Scranton, Peraza up as the starting SS. Volpe needs to make adjustments to his swing. Hopefully, there is a hitting coach somewhere in the org who knows hitting and can help him. None of that “hit strikes hard” crap that Lawson thinks is coaching. Also on the firing line is DJ LeMahieu, whose butt needs to hit the bench until he remembers how to hit big league pitching. Don’t worry, his bulging wallet will provide adequate cushioning for his currently useless ass.

  22. 999 - should DJ LeM he have two bulging wallets to provide the necessary symmetry ?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Good call AA - he might develop some kind of hip flexor from any imbalance

  24. the great sage billy beane has postulated that the playoffs are a crapshoot and i believe this to be true if the great and holy judge(aaron of course) is healthy and if cole is at his best along with nasty nestor rehab rodon setback sevy(playing for a big payday) and dogface domingo are at their best this could be the year!

  25. i forgot about yankee frankie(highly unlikely i know)!

  26. Buckwheat could certainly outhit most of the players in the Yankees' lineup.
