I’m almost as big a Giants fan as I am a Yankees fan. Jints get Nabers as expected…as with the NYY it’s been a long drought: Gonna be at least a year longer.
Nestor pitched well enough to lose to a terrible team. 11 hits and three walks, 14 baserunners, only plate one run. Judge is hurt. Stanton is done. DJ way never walk again.
CashBrain should die from multiple strains of the clap.
From Yankees.com: the Yankees claimed RHP Michael Tonkin off waivers from the New York Mets.
To make room on the 40-man roster, the Yankees have designated RHP McKinley Moore for assignment. Tonkin, 34, has gone 1-2 with a 6.00 ERA in six relief appearances (nine innings) with the Twins and Mets this season

ReplyDeleteOh, and how inspiring the Yankees were in the first. Well for three batters.
Gleyber picked off. And yes, the picture was picked partly because of the Charmin Bears. Good name for a sports team.
ReplyDeleteTHe 76ers are taking a lot of cheap shots. Getting flagrents.
ReplyDeleteBoone giving up. Down 3-1 and he brings in Santana.
ReplyDeleteThere goes the ballgame. Starts by walking the number nine hitter, then throws the ball into center when he fields a grounder.
Jesus, he's just lousy.
An Embiid foul-out would be nice. A Hartenstein foul-out would not.

ReplyDeleteYeah, Santana is the ass end of the pen for sure
ReplyDeleteYankees offensive juggernaut continues its impressive run against the best team in baseball.
ReplyDeleteWait, what?
Ruf doin’ the juju
ReplyDeleteYanks split with the Vegas A's, and apparently the Sixers don't miss any shots anymore.
ReplyDeletePocono - Doesn't look good.

A split with A’s, especially at home, is not acceptable. The execution was abominable.
ReplyDeleteLooking at a sweep this weekend, and I don’t mean for us.
This team is now unwatchable.
ReplyDeleteJudge turns 32 today. He looks like he's 62.
Well, we had North America's greatest sports dynasty from c. 1920-2009. Karma, I've been told, is a bitch.
Hoss,
ReplyDeleteI do believe that there may be some kind of irony with that 62 number for Judge but, I just can’t put my toe - I MEAN my finger on it.
What a drag it is getting old…..

Rest easy, friends…
Hope Tonkin can play first and third base.
