Remembering Sterling: Honey Bun

  1. Pinstripe Alley just tweeted that Rizzo just doesn't look like himself again today.

Jays leading 2-0 in the second.

  2. Don’t know why Boone didn’t PH for Wells whose long uppercut swing makes him easy pickings for MLB pitching. To me, he will never be a competitive MLB hitter.

Meanwhile, another offense flameout. Judge/Torres awful as usual

  3. At least Volpe hasn't struck out today (yet).

This all goes back to Bonehead throwing away that extra inning game against the indians. Asshole vertigo should have been benched and maybe the rest of the team might have noticed.

BTW, love the new page title.

  4. Holmes coming in to, uhm - uh - save the game.

  5. Tying run at the plate.

A double play might be nice

  8. That home plate ump sucked.

  9. Hopefully that’s what Judge needed to start hitting again

  10. So, went out to the Stadium formerly known as Shea with a Met fan friend today, celebrating his birthday. Saw Severino pitch a very nice six innings, giving up one, unearned run. Oh, and Bader hit a two-run homer that sealed the game.

    Yeah, those Yankees coaches...

  11. We need to keep the flame burning.

Since John won't be here to warble for us, it is our solemn duty to finish every win with a warble of our own. Right here on this blog. I will start the tradition if you will allow me please:

    Thuuuuuuuuuuu Yankees WIN!!!

  12. Hoss - what exactly is a Mets fan?

    I'm confused . . . .
