Boris Karloff as the Frankenstein Monster during a charity baseball game in 1940. That is Buster Keaton behind the catcher's mask. pic.twitter.com/5qrb1yaOf7
1940 was even after Son of Frankenstein - so getting dressed up as the Monster for that charity even was sort of like Karloff's Frankenstein IV - The Quest for Peace....(and it sure looks like Mr Pratt was wearing eyeglasses in the upper photo). Great find - StAnG
Very predictable loss. There are 18 games left, the team will finish between 8-10 and 10-8. So, 91-93 wins. Enough to win the Division? Maybe yes, maybe no.

ReplyDeleteKarloff was so good in Targets, Bogdonowitz's first movie. Interesting story. Worth watching.

ReplyDeleteSo disgusting. So dreadful.
ReplyDeleteSo lame. But KC has some really good picthers. Playoff quality. And this is what we do against guys that good.
ReplyDeleteGood to know Al Leiter Jr still sucks.
ReplyDeleteYou cannot win them all, but since June 13th the Yankees cannot win most of them.
ReplyDeleteFuck Hal.
Well, it was quick at least.
